I want to suggest to ebuild "I librarian" for gentoo.

The Project can be found on

A tar ball exists
http://www.bioinformatics.org/librarian/downloads.php

and the requirements are Apache, PHP with PDO SQLite, and others

User mike made experience with I Librarian on a gentoo linux

Depends on:
apache2 and php

PHP version	>5.2.0 (>5.3.0 recommended)
SQLite database version	>3.3.0 (>3.7.0 recommended)

Required PHP extensions:
USE
dev-lang/php sqlite3 apache2 pdo 


Recommended PHP extensions:
dev-lang/php gd sqlite3 apache2 pdo zip
