At the last three days, Ibecome som problems.

First I wont to update the installation of sonar with a error like this:

ar cru libtilde.a tilde.o shell.o 
ERROR: no command given

Usage: start_ar.rb <command> <options> -- <application options>

then I want to update my ssem and it Crasch at Packets like Cups

now I tried to refresch my system with Emmerge -e @system and it also crashes.

I search in the forum in the buglist and ask @the IRC chanel. but noboddy has an answer for me.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -e @system

Actual Results:  
It crash at the step to remerge Which

Expected Results:  
emerge the full packate

I try to delete rubygems and installed them new. but it dose not help.

Attached the files for you. Whereas we didn't get this resolved on chat, the mantainers of which and binutils (which contains ar) probably have more expertise on this; we already checked up the symlink which resolves the PATH correctly, so we had no clue where it gets start_ar.rb from. Hopefully one of the maintainers knows what is going on and perhaps we can then turn this bug into something that will prevent this kind of behavior in the future.

google says `start_ar.rb` is a random ruby file from something called "auto_response"
