Here is an ebuild for tree-puzzle-5.1, a program for maximum likelihood analysis of nucleotides, amino acids, and two-state data. The project's home page is at : http://www.tree-puzzle.de/. Tree-puzzle is widely used in computational biochemistry. Its inclusion in Portage could benefit biologists and bioinformaticians using Gentoo Linux. Tree-puzzle is programmed in C, has no special build-time or run-time dependencies, and should (I think) compile on any platform for which a C compiler is available. I have seen tree-puzzle used on x86 systems and on a SGI supercomputer. However, the attached ebuild has only been tested on x86 computers. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
