I found a program which isn't in the portage tree. this name is kdetv/qtvision (2 namens for the same program) and it's a tv program like tvtime, xawtv. Please add a ebuild of this programm. I also created some additional files to prepare for a submission to the Portage tree. It still needs some work, however, and I'm just starting to learn how it all works. Maybe someone with more experience can submit it to Portage more quickly?!
Hi all, cannot add it myself, but here are some tips - to the attention of MARC - that might help a faster submitting process. First, set the Keywords to EBUILD; then, change the summary to something like "[ebuild] media-tv/kdetv (new)". This helps developers find out who's supposed to submit and where. These modifications can only be done by the original submitter, Marc Kastner - so you've got to do it. Don't forget about closing the bug when you spot the ebuild in portage. And by the way, it does compile fine on my machine (pentium4, CFLAGS="-march=pentium3 -O3 -pipe") Cheers!
