I think it's the accident that maintainer try to prune adodb-ext but without remove all files (ChangeLog  Manifest  files  metadata.xml). ${category}/${package} contain no ebuild makes no sense.

What a strange thing to do ... And it only took two years to discover.

Might be that we purge this package since upstream has been dead for a few years.
