Maybe this is a WONTFIX, but as result of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=315407 I suggest to consider adding something like >=sys-devel/gcc-4.5 to RDEPEND in qt-gstreamer (at least as long as QtGLib is part of the qt-gstreamer ebuild).

That would not make sure the user actually uses recent gcc, only that it is installed... :|

Sorry, not much we can do here. Since gcc-4.6 is stable already...
