Knowing the need for security-related documentation, I certainly welcome Thierry. If he's going to be a GDP member (either fulltime or parttime) he should read up on the following docs: 1. Documentation Development Policy http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/doc-policy.xml Afaik, the first docs that are going to get written are htdocs/security specific though (process, policy and such) so I don't think he immediately needs to be part of GDP (in other words he can join once he's gotten the feel of documentation development).

Yeah, most of the docs he writes will live under the equivalent of /proj/en/security. If he decides he wants to help out with other areas of Gentoo, I'll make sure he gets in touch with the right folks. --kurt
Thierry's requested gentoo-x86 access for GNAP ebuilds as well as for security related fixes that may involve package.mask or patching ebuilds/security keywording (when the maintainer's not around etc). He'll need to submit the ebuild and end quizzes.
He'll need to find a mentor to help him, and who will give the initial ok for his quizzes.
