Suspend(), SuspendAllowed(), Hibernate() or HibernateAllowed(), and use of pm-powersave... are all behind --enable-deprecated flag now and will go away later. See both, in this order: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/upower/commit/?id=372c2f8d2922add987683a24b5d69902e05e2f97 http://cgit.freedesktop.org/upower/commit/?id=8bbf566dc8a80d129e202de619fe9da6f2e8b80b I guess we should decide what we do with hibernate and suspend on non-systemd systems, $(use_enable !systemd deprecated) only carries you so far...
Why does current ebuild (0.9.19) strictly depend on sys-power/pm-utils since it can utilize systemd?
(In reply to comment #1) > Why does current ebuild (0.9.19) strictly depend on sys-power/pm-utils since > it can utilize systemd? This bug is for 0.9.20, not 0.9.19, the change in git happened *after* the release
In fact, I don't see any value in keeping this open. Sorry for the noise. We'll tackle this when and if they removed the pm-utils support entirely.
