Hi,

I have created and tested an EBuild for MIMD.

MIMD is a Multicast streaming daemon that I maintain at the University of Oregon.

It allows you to create playlists of MPEG 1/2 (audio, video, or both) and MP3s. Each play list can have it's own group, port, and TTL on the mulitcast network, and can be set to loop. The daemon can also write SDP files which are compatible with players like mplayer (mplayer sdp://X.sdp).
