Is it OK to stabilize =net-proxy/wwwoffle-2.9i ? If so, please CC all arches which have stable keywords for older versions of this package and add STABLEREQ keyword to the bug.
looks good on amd64.
(In reply to comment #1) > looks good on amd64. How good does it look? Please don't comment in this fashion on bugs if you are not part of an arch team, it'll only confuse people. People on arch teams test the various combinations of USE flags on the package and verify that their features actually work, they also look for bugs filed against the package to see if none have been reported; it's much more than just a "it runs for me"... If you are actually interested in participating in the amd64 arch team, see the "participating" part of http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/amd64/at/index.xml for more details.
the package has been thoroughly tested. I verified the dependencies, ensured the package passed all tests, repoman etc.
TomWij look before you leap. He above has been doing just that on and off at least for a protracted period of time. A lecture he needs not, a dose of unashamed support he does. Former amd64 AT; idella4
(In reply to comment #4) > Look before you leap. Look where? No tracking bugs found for Aaron, Bauman, bmangentoo or bman. Sigh... > He above has been doing just that ... You see that as an AT as you are CC-ed on all his actions, I do not. > A lecture he needs not, a dose of unashamed support he does. He has no badge indicating he is an AT recruitee (ago informed me about his status an hour ago), nor listed that way; I educate people the way I see them, therefore I saw him as an user. He told me he wasn't bothered by this and agrees with me on the issue. I feel we are in the need of recruitee badges or at least a list of recruitees. If you want, feel free to contact me by mail regarding this matter; to keep this bug clean...
