Unless someone donate hw strong enough to have on-tip testing all the time to allow us to generate binaries for testing tree we can't do this. We will generate only stable package binaries unless this change.
We used to have binaries made from upstream binary RPM's can't we have as such again?
You can package them, no problem in that, just can't go to stable ever, because we even have confirmed sec-vulns in them and it does not work well with gnome3 and kde4. It is built against old rhel5 with archaic everything. But by all means just provide some package if ya want :-)

The binary package is generated from stable source ebuild. So when you see libreoffice-4.0 stable you can start expecting 4.0 binary, but not before that.
i have compiled and tested the binary and it seem to be stable. maybe its time to take the binary in to the tree. thanks

There is already stabilisation request as the 4.0.4.2 was stable candidate from the begining. It is not just about the suite working for someone, it is about fixing most grave regression in the series prior imposing it on users.
libreoffice-bin will only be provided for stable versions.
