Description Mario Camou 2004-03-24 15:24:08 UTC
I have a Vaio R505TF. I am running kernel 2.6.4 and app-. I keep seeing multiple roller events with a single click of the roller. For example, when I use the roller as a scroll wheel, each click of the roller sends two scroll events. When I click on the roller as a middle mouse button, I get two clicks. This doesn't happen all the time but most of the time.

Reproducible: Sometimes

That's a kernel issue... Not a mobile software issue. I'd recommend trying a new kernel.
Comment 2 Daniel Drake (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-09-26 07:00:10 UTC
Does using a newer kernel (e.g. 2.6.8.1) solve the issue?
Comment 3 Tim Yamin (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-10-02 12:39:47 UTC
Please try the latest development-sources, and if you still have the issue, then please file a bug with the upstream kernel developers at http://bugme.osdl.org. Thanks!
