Description Tomáš Chaloupka 2013-02-07 07:52:45 UTC
With kde-4.10.0, there is an update to libkipi and libkdcraw, but it cannot be installed because kipi-plugions requires older ones.

So there is a need to upgrade kipi-plugins package too, but there is just 2.9.0 version in portage.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge kde-4.10.0
2.
3.
Actual Results:
blocking packages

same here.

please have a look at this.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=311936
and in

https://projects.kde.org/projects/extragear/graphics/kipi-plugins/repository/revisions/master/entry/README
it says :
DEPENDENCIES
ibkipi         >= 2.0.0                        https://projects.kde.org/projects/kde/kdegraphics/libs/libkipi

libkdcraw       >= 2.2.0                        https://projects.kde.org/projects/kde/kdegraphics/libs/libkdcraw

maybe it's already sorted out or maybe with digikam4?

!!! Multiple package instances within a single package slot have been pulled
!!! into the dependency graph, resulting in a slot conflict:

kde-base/libkdcraw:4

  (kde-base/libkdcraw-4.9.5::gentoo, installed) pulled in by
    <kde-base/libkdcraw-4.9.50 required by (media-plugins/kipi-plugins-2.9.0::gentoo, installed)
    (and 1 more with the same problem)

  (kde-base/libkdcraw-4.10.0::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) pulled in by
    >=kde-base/libkdcraw-4.10.0:4[aqua=] required by (kde-base/thumbnailers-4.10.0::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge)

kde-base/libkipi:4

  (kde-base/libkipi-4.9.5::gentoo, installed) pulled in by
    <kde-base/libkipi-4.9.50 required by (media-plugins/kipi-plugins-2.9.0::gentoo, installed)
    (and 1 more with the same problem)

  (kde-base/libkipi-4.10.0::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) pulled in by
    >=kde-base/libkipi-4.10.0:4[aqua=] required by (kde-base/ksnapshot-4.10.0::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge)

Can all be fixed by moving digikam-3.0.0-rc from kde overlay to the main tree. Will do that later (if noone else is faster).

Thanks, fixed in CVS.
