Upgraded from VMware 4.05 to 4.51, but no longer have a menu item for it.
The "Emulator" category has disappeared, and I found this with qpkg -l:

/usr/share/applnk/Games/vmware.desktop

First, VMware does NOT belong in games (maybe it does not deserve its
own category, but at least put it in "system" or "utilities).

This file contains the following:

Categories=Application;Emulator;

I don't know much about the /usr/share/applications and /usr/share/applnk
directories, but maybe the contents suggest an Emulator directory that no
longer exists.

Steps to Reproduce:
The menu item disappeared with the upgrade
Actual Results:  
It should still exist.

yeah, was to satisfy that guy who was complaining about Games vs Game

changed default app-emulation category to go into Emulation
