Deedra, he is now CC'd to the bug. I would like to suggest that we forgoe the quiz for now, as he needs only limited CVS access, not to the Portage tree. So why test him on ebuild policy? Thanks.
In all honesty, if he's working on the installer, he should do the quiz. No offense intended, but I really think that he should know dev/ebuild policies if he's working on a project like this.
I agree on this, but not sure what the policy is.. ie: I have dev status because I help run the infrastructure, but don't have a clue about ebuilds so I don't need ebuild cvs, and therefore don't need the quiz..
Just to clarify, I don't expect his quiz to be perfect, I just want to know that he has an understanding of how things work. While he isn't going to be handling portage, I really do think he should have a general understanding especially since he will be working on parts of gentoo.
