You should have checked your patch before posting. It's twice the size of the doc and all it does is 
1) remove all lines
2) insert all of your doc

Differences are not apparent, so I suspect you edited the doc under an obsolete OS (bad, bad, bad) and forgot to remove all carriage returns.

Please redo the patch.

hex editor? try using tr or even better, vim :)

In vim, you can convert dos files to unix (and vice versa) by running ":set ff=dos" (and ff=unix). The ff stands for "fileformat".

yes it includes the changes in #45112
exxept telling the user to boot on network in the bios
and the menu system.
