gtkmm needs to be bumped to 2.2.10 (simple bump)
net-analyser/gnome-* needs to be masked ~ppc
gnome-base/gnome-keyring needs to be masked ~ppc
epiphany needs to be bumped to 1.2.1 (simple bump)

PPC specific bug: 

had to remove the gnu-asm patch line from  the ebuild. No idea about the runtime behaviour of gstreamer, but it compiles ok without the patch.

metacity-2.8.0 wants to patch screen.c but patch can't be applied. metacity can be compiled fine without the patch

this one could be 2.6 headers related: 

gnome-applets fails to compile with apm use flag enabled. cannot find apm.h to include.

I should have committed every ppc related fix to gnome-2.6
please check twice, I could forget something
