Hi! I would love it if you updated f2py to the newest release, and if the version isn't out yet add the callable object patch. :)
yes it is outdated. it would help if someone could test if there are any modifications needed to the existing ebuild
Just tested it, there has been some important changes.. scipy isn't bundled with it anymore. I have made two new ebuilds which I think can be used, it would be nice if it was added to unstable so I could easily ask more people to test it.. (so I can come in a couple of weeks and say they are stable..)

Ok, all I can say for now is, it works for me! :) I'll give you an update in a week or two if you add it, so more skillfull fortran people than me can take it for a spin easily.. :) I'll wait for the release of f2py with the patch I wanted in for now until the author actually releases it.. :>
