Seems to have a problem in the Bittorrent part of MlDonkey 2.5.16. I found a thread on MLDonkey Forum that point to a patch which can resolve this issue.

I made a test and really BT is very slow under MLDonkey 2.5.16. If somebody else will be able to test, it will be great.

does -r2 have better performance for you?  It has threading enabled.

I'm using the version r3 now, and seems very good Jeremy. About the question of Bittorrent, people which uses firewall also needs to setup it to open ports 6881:6889 to improve the performace...
