Hi I just finished putting up the first beta release of my software, and being a Gentoo fan I prepared also an ebuild of course :) A complete description of what selfdhcp does can be found at the above URL. (this is not the first time I'm using Bugzilla, but it _is_ the first time I use it to submit a new ebuild.. so forgive me if something is wrong :)
Created attachment 27811 [details] the ebuild I prepared
WiseLYNX, on your home page you have "an host", which should be "a host" by the way
Unfortunately I have a switched network here, and as such it makes it difficult to test this program. I'll reassign to wranglers.
well, even on a switched network you could use the software using profiles and the -A or --active flag.. if the problem anyway is to test it on a non-swithced network, I could point out a Gentoo developer which have access to such a nete, even if he would probably hate me after for this :P it's my friend lu_zero :)
we'll take this one :)
... he is wrong ... the network I have access isn't hubbed since about 3 years ago, at least the zone I have access.
Okay. After checking the homepage i think selfdhcp-0.2 is the current version. Which category do you suggest? sys-cluster? net-misc?
I would suggest net-misc..
I checked it in as net-misc/selfdhcp. Closing this bug. Thanks for your submission.
