Description crusaderky 2004-03-22 08:30:08 UTC
I can't play correctly the audio stream of this file:

ftp://ftp.lineage2.com/0115_chronicle1.zip (93MB)

with avidemux-2.0.22; i get only noise.
it's LPCM stereo 178kbps 22050 Hz.
I have no problems with mplayer.

The worst thing is that if I try to edit the movie and leave "A Process" off I don't get any errors with avidemux, but xine crashes and mplayer freezes when trying to read the output file.

Sorry I overlooked this report for such a long time.
I sent this bug upstream to the autor.
Is the link still up? I can't seem to connect.

looks like the FTP server is momentarily down; it's still linked in the web page http://www.lineage2.com/pds/pds_movie.asp

I contacted the author. From the next release on there will be a notification that the audio is unsupported rather that noisy output which is the case when usinc the lpcm codec.
So for now you`ll have to demux your stream and handle video and audio seperately.
