Description Peter Gracar 2004-03-21 03:22:12 UTC
This is the message I get on boot (copyed only the relevant part, no other errors on boot):
* Starting Syslogd, klogd...
seq: invalid floating point argument:
Try: `seq --help' for more information

I tried changing the logger (syslog-ng and sysklogd) and reemerging coreutils (updated to masked package but didn't help). I got the info about seq being part of coreutils with qpkg (gentoolkit).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Boot
2.On logger start error appears
3.

Actual Results:
* Starting Syslogd, klogd...
seq: invalid floating point argument:
Try: `seq --help' for more information

Expected Results:
* Starting Syslogd, klogd...

Comment 1 Peter Gracar 2004-03-21 12:57:00 UTC
Was caused by a line in /etc/init.d/bootsplash. Fixed by removing the line.
