Description Daniel Schindler 2004-03-21 01:30:27 UTC
When emerging openoffice, emerge the ebuild breaks because of missing / not able to create libstdc++.so or libgcc_s.so with gcc 3.3.3.

a badly but working solution was for me to copy the whole /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.3 directory into /var/tmp/portage/openoffice-1.1.1_rc1/work/oo_1.1.1_src/solver/645/unxlngi4.pro/lib

i am not sure whats wrong but this helped me out.

ohh, and in this ebuild there is an dependency for csh missing.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge openoffice-1.1.1-rc1

Actual Results:
stops the emerge when trying to copy the so files

Expected Results:
finishing the emerge :-)
