trying to help testing media-video/ffmpeg to media-video/libav switch I encountered some packages which hard depend on media-video/mplayer (instead of either mplayer or mplayer2) and by consquence blocking libav with the mplayer's requirement on ffmpeg.

The motivation of this hard dependency should be investigated to possibly ease the switch of users.

One of these packages is media-video/ogmrip

I took the time to make mplayer1 work with libav so closing this as fixed for now.

Btw thanks for the reports as the people reporting their desire for mplayer1 is what made me to fix the mplayer1 builds ;-)
