Hello all, since kde 3.2 i can't use kopete, now, after emerging kde 3.2.1 and running kopete, I'm getting this error: Library file "libkcm_kopete_[plugin_name].la" not found in path. Of course previous versions of kopete were unmerged before installing kde 3.2.1, and if I do emerge -p kopete, i get: [blocks B] =kde-base/kdelibs-3.2* (from pkg net-im/kopete-0.8.0) [ebuild N] net-im/kopete-0.8.0 and this should be ok, since kopete is now included in kde.. But I'm getting that annoying error message about .la files and so, I can't use kopete.. sob... Is there a workaround for this? many thanx. Que

did you uninstall the previous version of kopete before emerging KDE 3.2?
I didn't do it when upgrading to 3.2... Then I unmerged it, unmerged kdenetwork and I re-emerged kdenetwork.. But it was not working, so I followed instructions of bug #41568 but the problem was not solved, even after upgrading to kde 3.2.1... Is there something I can do for seeing it working? :) Many thanx. No with kde 3.3 kopete is working fine (I had to delete /usr/lib/kde3 but I think this was a problem related only to my laptop), so finally we can close this bug ;p Que
