Since firefox supports both 0.1 and 1.0 API versions, I think there's no reason for it not to be built with gstreamer:1.0.
Although ebuild strictly depend on media-plugins/gst-plugins-meta:0.10.

gstreamer-1.0 is not even supported upstream, the api had many changes that are not compatible with current firefox.
