Summary:

 - With dev-tex/luatex-0.70.1 compilation fails
 - With dev-tex/luatex-0.70.1-r1 compilation succeeds

The build error is:

I cannot provide full logs any more at this time.  Would you mind if I bumped the dependency?

the only difference is the zlib version check

if you rebuild -r0 it will succeed

yes because its unrelated; please file a stablereq for -r1 instead.

I'll trust you on that, sounds invalid to me then.
