Dear all, msf is currently undergoing MAJOR cleanup and unbundling of bundled gems etc in the pentoo repository in layman. I am aware that a new release has come out, but due to the ongoing cleanup effort I am purposely holding back a new release. If you *need* the most current msf please use metasploit-9999 from the pentoo repository in layman. Otherwise I expect the cleanup to be complete in approximately 2 weeks at which time there will be a stable version bump in gentoo as well as some great new features and enhancements. Please bare with me.
Newest version is 4.7.0
I have pretty much everything complete, except the automated tests, all available in the pentoo repo. I'm having a few interesting issues getting things working properly with the tests, but as soon as that works I'll have this in gentoo again. I know it's been a while, but really things are very close to working. Please bear with me and/or use the pentoo overlay for the present time.
Metasploit 4.8 is online. Any updates on this?
