qingy 0.4.0 is out, it fixes upstream all the issues addressed in Bug #38863. I attach a new ebuild that: - honours gentoo CFLAGS - honours various gentoo USE flags (emacs, pam, static) - allows for proper installation of qingy shared libraries and themes, according to the FSH standards You know, I would really like to be able to commit the ebuilds for my own programs directly ;-P
Created attachment 27577 [details] ebuild for qingy 0.4.0
looking forward to have it in portage ...
ah nice, in cvs. :)
The ebuild works perfectly here...
qingy 0.4.0 has a(nother) bug in its config file parser, that gets triggered if you chose a theme twice, i.e.: theme = random in general settings theme = "virulent_sex" under, say, a "tty = 3" subsection The problem is now fixed in CVS (which should become 0.4.1 soon). Thus qingy version 0.4.0 should never be unmasked...
