ick, ofc :

sys-apps/rng-tools
sys-apps/haveged

both are entropy daemons like the already mentioned sys-apps/timer_entropyd

(and FWIW there's a package media-sound/audio-entropyd which seems to be in the wrong category IMHO and that's init.d file should be adapted too BTW.

No, not really.

rngd, haveged, timer_entropyd, ... all "provide entropy".

It should be SSL-software that should "use entropy".

right - but what's about WLAN ?  (b/c then net.wl* should use it too)
