Description sumer 2004-03-17 13:23:02 UTC
I installed KDE 3.2.0 on a PPC machine, and when trying to install KDE-SDK (to get Cervisia), emerge wanted to install an older outdated version of KDE-SDK.

-----------------------------------------
apple root # emerge -p kdesdk

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild N ] kde-base/kdelibs-3.0.5b-r1
[ebuild N ] kde-base/kdesdk-3.0.5b

apple root # emerge -p kde

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild R ] kde-base/kde-3.2.0

apple root #
-------------------------------

The workaround? I'm emerging /usr/portage/kde-base/kdesdk/kdesdk-3.2.0.ebuild.
