sys-auth/pam_fprint package is obsolete and should be removed from portage.
PAM module for libfprint is provided by sys-auth/fprintd with "pam" use-flag.

That had been mentioned in upstream mailing list at http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/fprint/2012-January/000086.html

Gentoo is about the freedom of choice. pam_fprint does not need dbus or policykit, so RESO/WONT.
