Description BillWho 2012-12-31 02:17:00 UTC
I get this warning:
****************************************************************************
* WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING *
* The FUSE user space binaries were NOT installed with root directory *
* executable prefix. This means that automounting NTFS volumes during boot *
* could fail. This can be fixed the below way by reinstalling FUSE using *
* the right 'configure' option during FUSE compilation: *
* 	./configure --exec-prefix=/                                        *
* 	make && sudo make install                                          *

For some strange reason I can't send the log file - the submit button is unresponsive.
Comment 2 BillWho 2012-12-31 02:59:20 UTC
Still can't submit a file!

Comment 3 BillWho 2012-12-31 05:07:59 UTC
Please drop this bug - I had a bad entry in make.conf LANG="en en_US"

After commenting it ntfs3g-2012.1.15-r2 compiled and installed.

Thanks, sorry to bother you :(

Please follow http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/guide-localization.xml if you wish to localize your environment properly, I believe that after doing all the relevant files you need to run locale-gen in order for the right folders to be present.
