The package has no local description for its bindist USE-flag. This leaves the end-user guessing at what is specifically done. This is *bad*. Users who care enough about licensing and distribution etc. will probably want to know what is specifically going on. For a good example of how to do this, see www-client/firefox.
Hello, this issue is fixed in media-plugins/mediastreamer-silk-1.0.0 (voip overlay). Silk codec is now a separated media-libs/package (voip overlay for now) with its own bindist description. It will refuse to build with bindist since license doesn't allow redistribution. mediastreamer-silk-1.0.0 is now GPL-3 only package which depends on media-libs/silk.
