I have written an ebuild for the SDL_gfx library
(http://www.ferzkopp.net/Software/SDL_gfx-2.0/) and would love for it to be
rolled into Gentoo. There is only one issue with the library: gcc fails to
compile it under -O3. I hope the -O2 hack I have done is ok.

Added to portage.  You wouldn't consider making an ebuild for SDL_console would you?

Excellent! It's feels good to contribute ;-)

I've had a look at SDL_console but it only comes with a crap Makefile and my
Makefile knowledge isn't up to scratch, bah.

BTW you missed the 'a' off my email address in
/usr/portage/media-libs/sdl-gfx/ChangeLog
