I've been building from CVS using similar ebuilds for a while, so these two should work nicely. The first one builds ScummVM 0.6.0, the second builds ScummVM Tools 0.6.0. Both of these should probably go straight into stable, as they're a lot more mature than 0.5.1 VM and 0.5.0 tools. Flight of the Amazon Queen has been freewared too, so an ebuild for this would be good - it'll likely be similar to the Beneath a Steel Sky one. Cloney

Oh, one last thing - the scummvm-tools-0.6.0.tar.bz2 was updated post release, and I'm not sure it will have propogated onto the mirrors yet. The correct md5: 09ded7a8177fda1b861731052b8693c4 scummvm-tools-0.6.0.tar.bz2 75514 The ebuild will work with this version, but will not work with the previous one. Cloney
Actually, the sed dependency in the ScummVM ebuild doesn't seem to be relevant; it's a hangover from the 0.5.1 ebuild. Cloney
Be sure and check bugzilla carefully before submitting bugs. There was already and bug open for scummvm when you submitted this (bug #44809). I'm leaving this bug open for the tools ebuild.
Version bumped in CVS. Thanks for the bug report.
