Description Bryan Ross 2002-07-03 05:39:49 UTC
The USE Variable HOWTO has 'trusted' listed as a flag with unknown purpose. I
stumbled on its use last night while battling PCMCIA-CS. From what I can
deduce, if set, 'trusted' allows normal users to add/remove PCMCIA cards. If
it is not set, then all card operations must be completed by a super user.

Quite correct!

Thank you much for that :) I've adjusted the xml on cvs so it should get
updated whenever the website cycles thru its next update.
