Description Ramon de Ruiter 2004-03-15 02:00:09 UTC
Just a minor bug i think:
I already had mpg321 installed. When i did a "emerge -vp gtoaster" it showed mpg123 as a dependency. Shouldn't mpg321 with it's mpg123 symlink also do? :)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -vp gtoaster
2.
3.

Actual Results:
mpg123 is a dependency while mpg321 already was emerged.

Expected Results:
recognize mpg321 as a valid alternative and _not_ emerge mpg123

please update your portage tree and attempt to emerge gtoaster again.
On Feb 25th I updated the dependancy to virtual/mpg123 which should allow mpg321 as an alternative.

I update my tree every day.
However i found that re-emerging mpg321 somehow did the trick. (i think i didn't have the mpg123 symlink before.)
Just in case anyone else runs into this problem.
