Description Jure Repinc 2004-03-14 04:15:06 UTC
I tried this with KDE 3.2.0 and 3.2.1. Both have the same bug

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click Preferences button in Kicker > System Administration > User Account
2. Click Change Real Name
3. Enter new name and password
4. Click OK
Actual Results:
User Account interface doesn't redraw itself anymore and it starts using a lot
of CPU. After you kill and restart the username is changed correctly.

Expected Results:
User Account should change the name and continue normaly.

This is what I got from GDB after attaching to process and typing where:

I don't have this problem... kde-3.2.1, qt-3.3.1-r1...

Jure: Please provide information if bug still shows up, and if yes: provide the
output of "emerge info" and the version of qt you use.

need more info
Comment 4 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-25 06:04:06 UTC
Close dead old bug originally resolved "needinfo".
