Due to a hardware-defect the server mirror.opteamax.de will not be available until approximately December 11th 2012.

Mirror will go back online in our new datacenter on new hardware and faster connection.

We don't appear to have the ipv6 address: it is in the ACL, but not in DNS. Should we be advertising ipv6 service for this machine?

That's funny, initially this host was IPv6 only and was the first european IPv6 mirror ... actually this was the reason I set up the mirror, as there was no V6-Mirror available.

Will keep you informed when server is back and then we definitely should add the V6 address ;-)

Unfortunately it took a little longer as expected, but finally we are back. Distfile-Mirror is currently still syncing but should be ready soon.

Please readd addresses 

mirror.opteamax.de has address 194.62.23.99
mirror.opteamax.de has IPv6 address 2001:67c:1420::1:50

Btw... Could you please also adjust http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/mirrors2.xml to read "Opteamax GmbH" instead of "Opteamax UG" ? Thank you.

Updated mirrors3.xml to GmbH.
Re-added the mirror to the rotation.
Double checked ipv6 IPs to make sure we had then, we do now.
