Description Soups 2004-03-13 14:09:50 UTC
After rebooting from a stage 1 install, I get 'ext_read_super: mounting ext3 filesystem as ext2' message, then system checks my root filesystem, and spits out '/dev/hda3: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; RUNfsck MANUALLY. If I try to manually mount /dev/hda3, I see 'mount: fs type not supported by kernel' . I am using the 2.4.24 kernel from the Live CD, and used Genkernel to configure it.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Build system acording to install guide
2.reboot
3.Stare at screen

Expected Results:
Mounted /dev/hda3

Could you boot into the livecd and run fsck.ext3 /dev/hda3 or enter single user mode (pass single on your kernel line) and run fsck.ext3 /dev/hda3 and see if that fixes the problem?
