Same as http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42094 and http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=28478 and once fixed in http://www.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/kde-base/kdemultimedia/Attic/kdemultimedia-3.1.4.ebuild?r1=1.1&r2=1.2 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
I use Gentoo without the usual "~x86" keyword. Here, the problem was that the currently "stable" version of musicbrainz was to old. I emerged musicbrainz using ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~86", then emerged kde as normal (without the "~86"). After that, kde compiled without problems.
No, this bug is only because of the compiler flag and was reported long ago (and already fixed for some time).
Is this still a problem with kde 3.3/CVS? the kde devs did a lot of work regarding symbol visibility recently. Anyway, all kdemultimeida ebuilds currently have the filter-flags line, so I'm marking this bug as fixed.
