many packages are missing description


Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:  
http://packages.gentoo.org/package/net-print/hplip and many others
don't have description

Expected Results:  
hplip has description
HP Linux Imaging and Printing. Includes printer, scanner, fax drivers and service tools.

http://packages.gentoo.org/package/dev-lang/python
has description
An interpreted, interactive, object-oriented programming language

My guess is this is EAPI 5 related. Packages with only 1 ebuild that is EAPI 5 enabled lack descriptions.

IMHO packages missing a valid description should not be included in the main portage until such time that they do have one, as nowadays I do have no clue what a package is as there is no description and quite many also lacks a home page which makes it even more difficult to know what the package offers.

The packages have descriptions, they are just not rendered on packages.gentoo.org, due to a bug.
