Description Gaetan 2012-11-26 18:07:44 UTC
On brand new hardware, network cards Intel I350 are not showing up.

Boards are asking to compile kernel with e1000 support (which I did), but network interfaces are still not present.

I'm using latest kernel 3.5.7.

Please post your `emerge --info' output in a comment.

lspci -vvv also please.

Is this a purchased system where you can give us make and model?

Comment 4 Gaetan 2012-11-27 09:38:45 UTC
Actually not a bug.

Contrary to what I had read, and confirmed by lspci, this device requires igb kernel option and not e1000.

Thanks for your help.
