Description John Davis (zhen) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-03-12 08:37:09 UTC
currently, the socket for clamd is hardcoded in the initscript to /tmp/clamd. Programs such as amavisd want that socket to be in a different dir. Please introduce a variable that can specify where that socket file goes please.

hasn't been touched - is hanno still active?
Comment 2 Daniel Black (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-07-24 17:18:29 UTC
Init script shouldn't need to touch the socket - see bug #56805
Comment 3 Thomas Raschbacher gentoo-dev 2004-10-08 12:26:39 UTC
is this still a problem?
Comment 4 John Davis (zhen) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-10-11 20:28:28 UTC
no, it should be fixed by #56805
