Description jochen 2004-03-12 03:59:54 UTC
after successfully emerge openoffice (with sun-j2sdk instead of blackdown jdk) I could start openoffice the first time.

When trying to start it the second time, I got this error message:

openoffice.org: You have no entry for OpenOffice.org 1.1.1_rc1 in ~/.sversionrc,
yet the directory /home/coffee/.openoffice/1.1.1_rc1 exists.
Please remove /home/coffee/.openoffice/1.1.1_rc1 and try again.
 $ cat ~/.sversionrc
[Versions]
OpenOffice.org 1.1.1=file:///home/coffee/.openoffice/1.1.1_rc1

I modified my .sversionrc to read OpenOffice.org 1.1.1_rc1 ... With this the setup dialog pops up, telling me I didn't have OpenOffice installed. So I added a second entry to my .sversionrc:

[Versions]
OpenOffice.org 1.1.1=file:///home/coffee/.openoffice/1.1.1_rc1
OpenOffice.org 1.1.1_rc1=file:///home/coffee/.openoffice/1.1.1_rc1

with this version, openoffice finally works

As 1.1.1_rc1 is no longer in the tree, I think we can safely close this
