Tom has expressed his interest on gaining full developer status at Gentoo and joining the kernel team. He has been an incredible asset for me and our users and I welcome him to the team. We've just started this process, but I will be his mentor.
Per Mike's request, I've granted permanent voice on #gentoo-dev to Tom.
To keep you up to date, I have read all the documentation linked from the new developer quiz and will proceed to fill in the ebuild quiz this weekend. I'll soon send Mike Pagano a link to a private gist where he can follow and comment on the progress, at the point which he deems the ebuild quiz answers sufficient I will mail recruiters@ with those answers (as well as required information).
Mike has proof-read the "Ebuild development quiz", gave feedback and granted me permission to send the revised quiz; after carefully checking the whole quiz I have sent you a PGP/Mime signed mail containing it, you can find my key on subkeys.pgp.net as I was instructed to put it there by the manual. Feel free to confirm that you have received the mail correctly. You can find me on IRC using the TomWij handle, I will attempt to contact you on a daily basis as well so we can look for a moment where it is convenient to do the review.
(In reply to comment #3) > You can find me on IRC using the TomWij handle, I will attempt to contact > you on a daily basis Please don't :) When one of us is ready, will comment on this bug and then you two can schedule the review sessions. Pinging us every X {hours, minutes} will not make things go faster :)
Ah okay, I thought I was supposed to do so according to > When the quizzes are sent please contact me by IRC or email to schedule the first review session. on http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/devrel/recruiters/index.xml and assumed that the quiz was enumerated during review and not read in advance, nice to hear that you do to spare out review time by preparing for the review. From now on, I will await further instructions unless the bug has not been updated for a long time.

Hehe the message you "quoted" is the template we use to comment on bugs when a recruiter is ready. So when one of us is ready, he will write that message here.
I will be your recruiter. Please contact me by email to schedule the first review session. If you think that recruiters aren't paying attention to this bug at any later point in time, it's your job to ping us on IRC if you don't want any delays.
Status update: Second quiz has been finished and is under review of the mentor, once the last amendments have been made and I get a green light; I will mail it to you and try to ping you on IRC for reviewing (or mail if unavailable / necessary).
