As announced in the linked URL, thunar has been bumped to 1.5.1 (dev-release) a few weeks ago and should therefor be bumped to the latest version in ~arch. Reproducible: Always
actually another release has happened since 1.5.2 .. which I have been using on two machines since it's release without issues so far .. will probably also require xfce4-settings-4.11.0 and exo-0.9.1 but I'm not sure as I've bumped these personally myself as well without issues so far. also depends require newer versions of several libs etc., than current xfce-4.10 as per release notes and development timeline info for xfce-4.12
Created attachment 330131 [details] thunar-1.5.2.ebuild just an ebuild bump for the brave to use ..
(In reply to comment #2) > Created attachment 330131 [details] > thunar-1.5.2.ebuild > > just an ebuild bump for the brave to use .. This needs: http://archive.xfce.org/src/xfce/exo/0.9/exo-0.9.0.tar.bz2 to build.
Created attachment 330180 [details] thunar-1.5.2.ebuild w/ exo-0.9 dependency so it does require exo-0.9 as a minimum .. fixed ebuild for that must have missed it earlier
Seems to work fine, except I don't like how the file size is represented. For example: In Thunar- 3.7 MB (3,726,121 bytes) In Xfe - 3.6 MB (3726121 bytes)
There is really no need for this bug. We, the Gentoo Xfce packagers, are well aware of first round of Xfce 4.12 prerelease tarballs getting out However we have never packaged the first versions since they are way too buggy, but when the release cycle hits around rc1 "or close" we will add them all in tree under package.mask pending on final release. Thanks!
