Hi,

The lirc ebuild has some errors in it. The first one is the ewarn for Linux IrDA support: lirc doesn't need it; the second one is the link to the patch for 2.6 kernel series.
The link in the ebuild (http://lwn.net/Articles/42217/) points to an old patch, now obsolete. The right url should be my site http://flameeyes.web.ctonet.it/ where i put my patches.

I'm attaching a fixed ebuild.
