Description Harris Landgarten 2012-11-16 02:44:26 UTC
for the last few days I have been getting these error messages when using paludis

$ sudo cave resolve world -c
Deciding: 379 steps

Error:
  * In program cave resolve world -c:
  * When resolving and adding dependencies recursively:
  * When adding dependencies for 'app-admin/eselect-wxwidgets:0::(install_to_slash)' with 'app-admin/eselect-wxwidgets-1.4:0::installed':

  * When finding slots for '!<=x11-libs/wxGTK-2.6.4.0-r2':
  * When finding best version in each slot from packages named x11-libs/wxGTK with filter all matches:
  * When checking for package named 'x11-libs/wxGTK' in 'layman:
  * When populating UnavailableRepository from directory '/var/db/paludis/repositories/layman':
  * When populating UnavailableRepository from file '/var/db/paludis/repositories/layman/progress.repository':
  * UnavailableRepository configuration error: Cannot parse body package line ' :0/50 50.1-r1000 ; International Components for Unicode in '/var/db/paludis/repositories/layman/progress.repository' (paludis::unavailable_repository::UnavailableRepositoryConfigurationError)

The only workaround I have found is to rm /var/db/paludis/repositories/layman/*
